Attack vs defence
Introduction
to the players, explain to the players, the formation, 4v3,
Red : (1,3) vs Blue : (3)

Red team :
1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders against 3 strikers

· The practice starts with the striker’s receiving the ball from the coach out side 18 yard box to develop the attack by central striker the other 2 strikers stay wide to create space.
· The defenders have to stay compact to close the space outside the 18 yard box to not be dragged into the wide area.
· The ball has to be played wide by the central striker, then he moves into the 18 yard box
· While the right striker closes down from 18 yard line to try find open space, to pass the ball to the left striker to attempt to score in the goal.
· The play stop when the goalkeeper saves the ball or goes out of play and when the defending team recovers the ball.
· Quick passing and movement should be a secondary option inside the 18 yard box.

· jogging and stretching to raise players heart rate, body temperature and increase the blood flow to their muscles.

· Have one player (1) on the sideline and another player (2) in the middle of the pitch.
· The ball starts with player (1) trying to pass it to his mate (3) who is trying to make space to receive the ball
· Player (4) is tackling and pressing to win the ball, when he wins the ball he passes it to player (1)
· Player (1) then passes it to player (2) and start again
( who ever wins the ball and passes it to player (1/2) opposite will starts with the ball )
