Players 1 to 3 should move into space to assist the goalkeepers clearance or the keeper can go long to 4, 5 or 6. Strikers earn points by winning possession of the ball. GK & defenders win points by playing balls from the GK to the midfield line and back to the GK
Variation: Earn points by connecting five passes
Coaching points: Defenders offer angels of support to the GK, Back to the side line, GK distribution to front foot, firm passes across goal

Handling and distribution (15 mins)
Goalkeeping Distribution (15 min)
Set Up: Players A & B Rotate shooting on goal as the GK make saves. On doing this the coach shouts out a number of a player and the goalkeeper then decides to throw or kick the ball to that player. The coach will mix up the distribution targets.
Variation: Move to GK playing with their feet. Remove A & B. GK starts with ball at feet as coach calls out a target. As each target receives the ball to their feet, the ball is played back to the keeper to the area outside of the post, continue foot distribution work.
Coaching points: Play firm balls out of the back, GK plays to forward foot of each player, GK is the first attacker!, Its important for the goalkeeper to have a variety methods of distribution.
