GOALKEEPING SPLIT SET
One goalkeeper and two servers
Each server has five soccer balls
The keeper receives alternating shots from 14-20 yards (depending on age and ability)
Total 10 reps then rotate

GOALKEEPING KICKING GAME
Two keepers are positioned at opposite ends of the penalty box inside cones serving as a goal (8 yards wide)
The coach is in the middle of the two keepers
The coach starts by passing to either keeper
Keeper must strike the ball first time past the opposing goalkeeper and through the cone goal
If goalkeeper catches the ball, they roll back to the coach who sets the goalkeeper for a one touch shot the other way
Play is continuous. Play for time or goals

GOALKEEPING HANDLING AND STATIONARY VOLLEY WARM UP
Two keepers stand 8 yards apart
Player A volleys to Player B. Player B tosses ball back for Player A to catch
15-20 reps

GOALKEEPING THREE KEEPER WARM UP
Players A and C have a ball each and serve to C
One touch passing with the inside of both feet
20 reps then rotate

GOALKEEPING THREE KEEPER SIDE FOOTED PASS
Players A and C have a ball each and serve to C
Ball is tossed to nearest foot
Player C must side foot the ball back to the server
20 reps (10 each) then rotate

Same pattern but Player C must volley back with the laces

GOALKEEPING WARM UP GAMES
"Goalkeeping is all about the fundamentals
Instructions: Jogging around in area as group. When say stop want group evenly distributed amongst are (manage space)
Challenging all keepers to give direction to others where they
need to be
Progress: Add one ball to group. Three touches max, ball and
keepers must keep moving. Keep ball in area
Progress: Add two more balls (3 total) Goalkeeper receives ball with feet . Assume back pass and take touch to width) before passing it off
Progress: Keeper collects ball off ground with hands "say keeper" then distribute on ground with roll
Progress: With feet, keepers attack ball, calling early for it. is
miss the ball complete the save by getting on it
Progress: Distribute with hands on ground
Progress: Chip to goalkeeper repeat as above
Progress: : Field players play balls "high" to keeper shoulders
Progress: add one more ball (4 total). Play balls with more pace. If ball goes out of grid, go and get it quickly and bring it back in
Progress: Play ball to keeper on ground, then keepers plays it back with feet and goes lvl with field player to gather ball off
their feet (keeper goes down safely with commitment)
Progress: same as above but now field player tries to take one
touch and get around goalkeeper

No defending. Two to three teams of 4-6 players. Each team has a ball and are passing and moving through the area until their turn to go to goal. The coach will call out a color "ex White" . The team whos color is called must quickly combine and shoot on either goal
