A box about 5x5 in the center of a 30x30 area.
At each corner of the box is a small cone gate about a yard across.
Equal players on the inside of the area and the outside of the area.
Players on the inside start in the center square with the ball. On the coaches signal, they pass a ball to an outside player without the ball. They then make a run at and angle to be able to recieve the ball across their body while being able to see a majority of the field. Once the receive, they dribble at speed through a small gate and then find another pass from near the square.
Rounds of 30 secs. Players should count how many times they dribbled through the gate. Open body shape and receving on the back foot should give a better chance to make it through more gates. Player with the most gates wins each round.

Technical Warm-Up (20 mins)
3v1 in 8x8 grid.
This is our typical start to sessions, but extra time can be spent on receiving across the body on the back foot and changing the angle.
Players will move the ball back and forth playing keep away from the defender. Defender wins the ball, they become an outside player while the player who lost the ball becomes the defender. Coach should focus on players body shape and which foot would allow them to see most of the field.
Coaching Points:
-Receive on Back foot (across the body)
-Body shape when receiving
-Opening to the biggest part of the field
- Changing the angle to support the play.
