Basic movements of switching the play developing into switching during game play.

Dynamic Defending and defensive shape - 3 v 3.
Encourage defending as a team and moving together across the pitch.
Same as previous actions, only now there is 'real' defenders.
Start with defenders shadowing players and following movement of the ball.
Progression
* Attackers can attack on goal. Defenders still shadowing. (Play must be switched at least once before attack can proceed)
After 2 or 3 attempts rotate attacking and defensive postions.
Once each player played in each attacking or defensive position a few times, attackers become defenders and vice-versa.

Game like situation 5 v 4
Attack on goal but play must be switched at least once before a shot can be taken. Shadow defending. Shoot when given the opportunity, either in a wide or central postion.
Defenders use zonal defending.

* Standing tackles and blocks

Movement and Speed off the ball.
Receive the ball in space.
C2 and C1 work together to become the extra player.
Wingers should pass to the free man, depending on the movement of each player.
The shaded area represents the area in which C1 or C2 should be able to gain space for shooting (or passing) opportunity.
Rotate attacking team after each attack breaks down.

Stipulated Game - 7 v 5
Play starts and restarts (once the ball is dead) with the attacking team (purple) keeper.
Keeper can play to anyone they like but the ball must go through both wide areas during each attack for a goal to stand.
Defending team can tackle. If they gain possesion they attack the other end as normal (no stipulations).
Change defending and attacking players and positions as necessary.

Basic movement (10 mins)
Player C starts the move. Passes either to L or R.
If the pass is to L first, they dribble forward to the static defender (mannequin) and perform a turn.
L dribbles back, then passes back to C
C then passes to R who repeats.
This is continuous for a few minutes before players change to a different position.
Once each player has played at each position a few times and is confident of the game progress.
