Organisation:
Two taggers (attackers)
Three balls in play - coach has extra balls to keep the game in play
Work within the penantly area or create a relevant space for age group of numbers
Instructions:
Three balls in play, players with a ball cannot be tagged.
Attackers challenged to tag as many players as possible in set time.
Defenders pass ball between them to stop team mates being tagged
If tagged players have to balance on one leg for 10 seconds
Coaching Points:
Focus on defenders-
- Move into space
- Create passing lines
- Need to continue movement - don't stand still
- Positive first touch
- can you share the ball quickly to look after your team mates
Progression:
- Start with more / less balls
- If the player is tagged they must receive a pass before they can start again
- start with more attackers

Organisation:
Split players into 2 teams
Create a playing are suitable for players age and numbers
Add cone gates in various areas around the pitch
Teams score by passing through the gate
Instructions:
Teams attempt to keep possession of the ball. They score 1 goal by passing through the gates.
Move into space and create passing lines through the gates, if you can't pass thorugh the gate to your team mate, can you change direction and start again.
The players only get a point if the receiving player takes the ball under control.
Coaching Points:
- Move into space and help your team mates score points through the gate
- Create passing lines
- Need to continue movement - don't stand still
- Positive first touch - speed of movement to the next gate
- Team without the ball - can you intercept the ball to prevent the other team from scoring
Progression:
- If a team makes 3 points they can shoot and score 2 points if they score
- A team must go through 2 wide gates before they can shoot
- If a team make a positive forward pass through the centre gate they can shoot
- Increase to a full size pitch
