Session Organisation:
Practice set up as outlined with 17 players, 9v8 in favour of the defenders. Practice starts with Blue attacking team who play the ball from one target box to the other to start the practice and attack to try and score, offside applies throughout the practice. Reds defend and upon winning the ball have 5 passes to score into the red target goals.
Assistant coach manages blues to play like Man City and try and penetrate through the lines with the condition of each first time forward pass = the number of goals when they score.
Pictures:
- Ball played into central midfielder who receives on the half turn.

Scenario game – Blues you are Man City playing against Southampton (last day of the Premier League 2017-18 season) and you need the 3 points to break the accumulated points record.
Southampton you are safe and the game is 0-0, can you prevent Man City from gaining the record?

Session Organisation:
Players lead FIFA 11+ warm up incorporating footballs within.
Into the following continuous defending practice, if the defenders win the ball can they play an early ball into the goals to score. Attackers play in groups of 5 and rotate with a central striker
(No.9) and a sitting midfielder (No. 4) in the practice from the off, use this time to work specifically with No.4/8, 2/3 & 5/6 to link the players within the units. The 4 players who rotating on and off play in a 2v2 end zone game with the assistant coach.
Use this time to observe technical/tactical understanding of the topic and work with units and individuals.
