1 vs 1 2vs 2 (20 mins)

  15 mins station 1vs 1transition game 4 BOXES 10 BY 15= 6 PLAYERS PER BOX

4 games of 3 mins. players keep tack of the score(losing team, does 20 pushups and burpees.

2vs 2 transition

start 2 vs 0 once you scored or passed the goal line. the opp team counter right away.

coaching point:

attacking; put the opp on the side decide when to dribble, when to attract and when to pass. movement with the ball.

defending- keep the opp in front of you pressure and cover

WORKING WITH RWB/RW - wide combination play to cross

Red: 1-4-3 (missing 2 CB)

Blue: 3-5-0 (with no strikers)

RULES:

Blues have 5 passes to encourage direct play

Reds get 3 goals if striker has a touch OUTSIDE of the box

Who: RWB/RW

What: Overlapping/underlapping runs to cross

Where: Wide/half spaces

When: RWB or RW in-possession

Why: To create space for in-possession player to cross

How: Create space by sprint

1) Midfield 2 + CB combine to build play

2) Hit winger/wingback when possible

3) Open play to score

Blues look to win ball and counter into  goals - once ball is regained, restart from CDM

Full backs allowed to support if necessary

Before

RW look to move into either half space or wide space depending on RWB position

RWB move into opposite space of RW

During

RWB look to overlap RW

RW move inside
