TRANSITION TO ATTACK 5V4 OVERLOAD
4V1 in central zone. If the team of four makes a certain number of consecutive passes, they break out and can score on either goal.
If the lone defender wins the ball, (or the ball goes outside of the grid, they play out to their teammates outside the central grid and play 5v4 to the opposite goal of the player receiving

ATTACKING:8V6 BUILDING UP FROM THE BACK
Organization:
Shape: 1-4-3 v 3-3
Start: Yellow GK passesto either CB, Yellows look to keepgood possession and build up play. Yellow’s score by passing /running theball through any of the 3 ‘Goals’
IfReds win the ball, they try build up and score, Yellow’s transition to defendquickly.
Focuspoints
Anglesin passing, moving and receiving
Create width & depth to allow spacefor build up
Good quality/selection of passes tocreate overloads through the thirds
Create space and options in front of theball through good supporting angles and passes
Look for penetrating runs with or withoutball

DEFENDING IN THE MIDFIELD THIRD 6V6 JERRY SMITH

The Group of 5 players must try and keep possession and try to make 8-10 passes
If the 3 Defenders Win the ball try and break out and score on any corner goal
The 5 are allowed to try and counter press and winthe ball back if defenders win the ball
