We start every session with a Skills Zone. It is a free space to learn and develop skills and techiniques. The Skills Zone allows the students to become familiar with football movements and essentials to help them play the game.

The next stage of the session is a Rondo. A Rondo is a ball possession exercise. It introduces the act of passing. It also introduces Defence vs Attack. It is very game realistic and can be easily transferred to a competitive match.

2 v 1 Attack vs Defence
Object of this drill is for the attackers to get passed the defender and across the game line.
They can use skills they have already learned or they can work as a team and pass the ball to each other.

Players Lounge (5 mins)
Players Lounge is an area seperate from the rest of the session. This is a starting point used by the coach. The coach can use this area for introductions, explanations, demonstrations & an area to keep equipment.
There are various other uses for the Players Lounge. It can be used by the players to rest in between practices, somewhere to relax and have a drink before moving onto the next stage of the session. The Players Lounge is also used as a behavioural tool. A student can be sent to the Players Lounge if their behaviour is bad, thus excluding them from the practice.
