Organization: 15 x 25 yard grid. Central channel is 5 yards wide.
Instructions: 5 v 2 possession in one grid. Four players are restricted to perimeters of the that side of the box, but one player can move freely within that box. Must look to get four passes then play to the far side. To start, one defender is just resting in the middle channel until the ball is switched, then they can look to press. Once the ball is switched to the other side, the player on the left side of the entire grid is the only one who remains, the other four look to support the player on the other side of the grid, get four passes, and then play back across. Players in the middle can rotate.
Coaching Points: -Two options will always be available, open body positioning and a clean first touch will enable the right decision to be made.
-Player in middle, check to the ball even if you do not receive it because the when the defender follows that creates space for others to work.
Progressions: -Defender(s) in central channel can intercept the ball being played across.
-Ball must be played across in the air from the deep player (far left or far right of the grid)
Regressions: -4 v 1
