Organization
- 8 cones
- 1-2 players on each cone
- 2 balls start at 1 and 5
Instructions
- The ball follows the numerical pattern on the diagram.
- Each player follows their pass.
- The aim is for players to explore different first touches
Coaching Points
- Check to the ball to receive.
- Recieve on the back foot open out your body.
- Communicate for the ball

Organization
- Teams have two players on the outside, each facing each other from opposite ends.
- Balls with the coach to restart quickly
Instructions
- Players aim to get the ball from one side to the other. if the other team wins it back they must play the opposite way.
- Bounce players are not allowed in the middle but can slide along their line
Coaching Points
- 1st objective is to play foward, if unable keep posession.
- Recieve on the half turn in order to play foward.
- Look to make foward runs across defenders.
Progressions/Regressions
- Two small goals can be added on each side and players can score after 3 passes
- Regress by putting a pass limit on the team that are having more success.

Organization
- 6vs3 in the central square
- Defending team have the two goals to score
- Attacking team score on the big goal
Instructions
- The attacking team must make 4 passes before breaking out and attacking the two defenders
- To begin with two players are allowed to breakout
- The coach will allow free play before introducing the importance of positioning
- If the defenders win the ball they have to score in the two goals at the end of thr field
Coaching Points
- Quick combinations in the build out area
- Breakout attacks should be varied using width and attacking through the middle
Progression/Regression
- Breakout area is removed to allow free play.
- Pugg Nets replaced by big goal.

SAQ (15 mins)
Organization
- 30x30 square with 10x10 square on the inside
- SAQ to the right of each cone
- Players split Evenly onto the four cones
Instructions
- Players dribble to the cone in front before turning and passes back to the next person in line
- After they have passed the ball the will perform SAQs specified by the coach
- After each go they will move to the next line
Coaching Points
- Speed: Do players accelerate to the next station
- Footwork is sharp and game related
