2 teams (Attacking and Defending)
1 ball per attacking player
2 pug goals, or 1 large goal with GK
Instruction:
1. - 1 v1
2. - Attacking players attempts to score in either pug goals (1 point)
3.- Defense gains 3 points if the steal possession and score
4. Players rotate position after each attempt

Organization:

1 v 1, 2 v 1
2 zones( 2 teams each)
Instructions:
- In Zone 1 defensive team tries to prevent attacker from entering Zone 2
- If defensive team disrupts play (no points) and steals ball and scores 2 points
- Defender from zone 1 cannot enter Zone 2
- If attacker enters Zone 2 he will be joined by a supporting player in creating a goal scoring opportunity.
- As attacker enters Zone 2, a 2nd defender will engage play (1 point solo goal , 2 points for pass with goal)
- if defender in Zone 2 steals possession they can link play with defender in zone 1 and earn 3 points with a goal

- encourage taking on opposition
- runs of the ball
- absorbing or deflecting pressure
- how is the defense positioned

Progressions 1:
-1 v 1 to 2 v1

Instructions:
20 by 20 area or 30 by .30 depending on amount of players
Defense stays one side of the field
Attacking team is allowed 2 players in the defenses have at anytime.
If a player of the defending steals they can go straight to goal in the attacking team's half, with no restriction.
Coaching Points/Questions:
- spacing
- position of the dense
- creating space
- finding passing lanes
- How are the players able to penetrate the defense?
- What is the role of the 2nd attacker?
- Is the attacking team able recover quickly
Regressions:
- reduce the number of players and add neutral player

Introduction
Organization:
1.Two teams of players
2. 1 ball
3. 2 poles, or cones
Instructions:
1.- On coach's command red team dribbles ball and performs skill move around pole (in diagram) or cones
2. - Player then pass ball to a player from the blue team who performs the same action in opposite direction
3. - A player from the red switches position with the blue after each attempt
Coaching Points/Questions:
- Use body to enhance movement eg. faint/ fake, v-drag back etc..
- Head- up, facing forward
- accuracy in passing
- confidence in transition
- What part of the foot is the player using to execute the pass?
- Receiving - are they using first touch to play ball forward upon receipt?
