In Possession Team – RED (Coached)Set up in a 1-3-3- formation (representative of a 4-3-3)
Out of Possession Team – BLUE (Managed)Set up in a (GK) 1-4-2- formation (representative of a 4-2-3-1)
Frame
The coach is to work with the RED team, in possession on how to switch the point of attack. When the BLUES have possession they wont be coached but will look to breaklines on the counter attack by passing into common player (Green) orscore by passing into one of the mini goals. The coach will manage the opposition to defend in different ways aiming to prevent theswitch and ensure realism for both teams for the duration of the session.
The REDS in possession have to switch the play by getting the ball into a wide zone before they score. The BLUE team here are illustrated as a compact unit to limit the space and time of the players in possession. If the BLUE team win theball they must then counter attack and pass the ball into the neutral player (GREEN) or into the mini goals.
Teams can 'score' by:
1. The RED team switching play from a wide zone to the opposite wide zone and scoring against the GK will be a goal. Twoswitches of play would get you 3 goals.
2. The BLUE when gaining the ball will get three goals if they score from a counter attack and break lines into green common player or by passing into one of the mini goals.
