Set Up

Activity
- 4v4 to goal
- Player who recieves the ball looks to play to the striker if possible - looking to get forward as quick as possible
- High tempo with an attacking mentality
- Looking to score as many goals as possible and looking to attack as quickly as possible
Coaching Points
- First look forwar
- Decision making - knowing when to attack, if the pass is cut off to go forward, look to keep the ball
- Supporting players - look to attack and get into position to provide support off of the ball (good angle and distance)
- Attack open space
- Communication
- Looking to attack (numbers up - as in attacking third)

Set-Up
- 8 Cones (3 -- 15x20 Grids)
- 2 Nets (pugs or cones 5yards)
Activity
- 3v3 attacking transition looking for the target player to combine in the final third
- Players in the middle box play 3v3 with a restriction of minimum 3 passes before looking to combine to any target man in any of the zones
- If red starts, they make 3 passes, look for a target red in the end zone and one player can join the attack to make it a 2v1 in the final third
- Next run, the opposite team gets the ball
- Getting the players into the habit of looking into the strikers feet (first-look forward) and if the option is not on, continue to keep possession
PROGRESSION
- If no success, remove a defender from the opposing team and go numbers up

- 4v4 or 5v5 in the 20x20 space
- No stoppages or restrictions
- Emphasize all objectives and coaching points from the session
- Look to attack as quick as possible
Progression
- If you find the players are not attacking, make it in order to score a goal, all players must be past half line to get a goal when attacking

Give and go around the gym/field
one player starts with a ball, makes a pass and looks to overlap to recieve next ball in open space
- Continue this around the gym for 3 minutes
- Stop, large group dynamic stretch to the furtherst part of the gym (high knees, butt kicks, side shuffles etc.) and back into the warm up around the gym passing and moving
Focus - prepping the players with the surface and area, occupying the space and getting used to movement off of the ball for the attacking session ahead
