Activity Name: Rondo Switch
Activity Description: Activity starts as a 6 v 2 rondo (or similar number). Defending team sends in 2 players and the other 4 wait in a corner. Every 3 passes another defending player comes in...6v3, 6v4, etc. Once the possession team loses the ball the roles reverse and the defending team now tries to keep the ball, the team that had the ball leave 2 players in the middle and the other 4 quickly run to the corner ready to join the rondo.
Make it a competition. See which team can get the most defenders into the area. If a team gets all of the other defenders in the area count how many passes they can do with all of the defenders in the area.
Coaching Points:
- Communication between players.
- Movement off the ball.
- Look for spaces created by the movement of others.
- Move ball quickly but under control.
- Quality of technique - passing and first touch.
- Disguise passes to give team mate more time on the ball.
- Use futsal techniques - scooping, sole, toe pokes.

Activity Name: Run Around
Activity Description: Play a regular game or modify based on numbers. For larger groups have subs or a 3 team rotation. The two teams who are playing play a regular game. Randomly the coach will shout out numbers. Whichever numbers the coach shouts must immediately leave the court and run around one of the cones off the court. Coach should create different scenarios (shout 2 numbers and create a 2v2 situation, shout 3 numbers and create a 1v1 situation, shout a team color and a number to create a numbers up situation..."red 2 and 3"...this would create a 5 v 3 situation).
Coaching Points:
- Players should recognize the situations which have been created with the numbers being shouted. If it is a numbers up situation look to attack quickly and take advantage of the situation. If it is a numbers down situation protect the ball if you have it or low pressure defend and cut off passing angles if you do not have it.

Activity Name: Dribble to Rondo
Activity Description: Arrange players with a ball in the area. Select 2, 3, 4, or 5 players (depending on numbers). The players without the ball run around trying to kick out the balls of the players who have a ball. If a players ball is kicked out then they help the other players who still have futsal balls and be an option to pass to. The game will eventually turn into a big rondo with one ball remaining and a bunch of players trying to keep it in play.
Once all balls are kicked out play again and select different players to kick the balls out.
Coaching Points:
Keep ball close when dribbling.
Change speed and direction.
Use turn and face skill to change direction.
Look up to see where defenders are and where team mates are.
