Organization:
- Approx 24 x 12 yd area
- 2 teams of 4 players, 1 team all players with ball, other team share 1 ball
Instructions:
- Team sharing the ball must try to hold possession for as long as they can
- Dribblers will try to disrupt play but dribbling into passing lines to potentially intercept a pass, they must have a ball to do so. They may also tag the player with the ball to end the possession.
- Allow each team a few rounds before switching roles
Coaching Points:
- PoP: Width, Depth, Mobility, Creativity, Penetration
- Passing Technique: Quality (Pace, Accuracy, Timing) Deception when needed
- Communication: Verbal and Non-verbal to ensure passing effectiveness and speed of play
- Scanning the field to be proactive and have decisions formulated prior to receiving the ball.
- When to pass, when to dribble
Progressions:
- If the space allows and players require a greater challenge, allow dribblers to knock their ball into the ball in possession, ending the possession time.
- To allow more success for the attackers, take two soccer balls away from the dribblers, and they must now work together to disrupt possession and/or move the ball around to put themselves in a position to tag the player with the ball.

Organization:
- 10x10 Box
- 4-5 Players per grid
Instructions:
- 3 or 4 players against 1 defender.
- "Monkey in the middle"
- Attackers keep track of passes.
- If defender wins the ball, they attempt to dribble out of the box to receive a point.
- Players rotate after a minute round.
Coaching Points/Questions:
- Weight of passes
- Direction of the pass. Can you play to the correct foot?
- Movement off of the ball to always create an option.
- Make the space as big as you can.

Organization:
20x30 yard area
Each player with a ball
Instructions:
-Players dribble around the box trying to avoid collisions with the other players.
-Players also want to make sure they keep the ball inside the box.
-Players race to get 100 touches
-When finished, players place their foot on top of the ball to let the Coach know they have finished.
-Rest of the players have ten seconds to finish their touches once a player has won.
Coaching Points:
- Ball close enough to the body, but not caught up under their feet
- Head up, avoid collisions and find open space
- Dribble with good speed
- Accellerate away from pressure
- Timing of move
- Messi/Ronaldo Touches
Progressions:
-Add rule #1, If a player collides with another player or dribbles outside of the square, their score goes back to 0
-Rule #2, If a player can take a Ronaldo Touch through two players forming a gap, they add 5 points to their score.
-Rule #3, If a player is about to run out of bounds or in to a player they can perform a turn for 2 added points.
