GK 1 and GK 2 start in mini goal.
Both start by getting throw / volley (coach only) to face.
GK1 then moves into the other mini goal, via the cone behind him and GK2 moves to other mini goal using cone in front.
Ball is then thrown or volleyed again before they do the same movement (GK1 uses back cones and GK2 uses front cones)
GKs take 8 catches (4 each side) and do 2 sets (1 going fron, 1 going back)
Connor, Roman, Danny to receive volleys
Cailan, Sam, Max to get throws
Key Areas to look for:
Feet, knees + shoulders in straight line facing server
Hands, elbow and shoulder in straight line not outside the body line / tucked elbows
Thumbs almost touching to create 'w'
Body weight forward
Head in line or in front of toes
Hands in good ready position (elbows in at ribs)
Hands only move up and down, they do not move out then in to catch
Feet move before hands (encouraging hands to move with feet)
Setting at a good early moment to practice setting
Footwork must be always facing forward
Short, quick steps with correct foot leading when moving laterally
Want precise footwork but fast too so do not be concerned about smashing cones

GK starts on knees
Server passes towards cone for GK to dive to. GK saves, passes back, gets up and round the front and through the back of the cone to take a mid height dive the opposite direction.
GK then quickly gets up and across to mini goal for a scoop save.
Scoop save
I tend to go with a no initially barrier.
Feet shoulder width or just wider
Hands inside and slightly infront of legs in pinky - pinky position
Weight forward
Back over ball as it gets closer
As soon as hands get onto ball, GK is challenged to get their nose on ground as quickly as possible
If someone is really struggling with this, we can revert to knee down technique but all should manage!
Positions taken up are aggressive as they are on the angle.
Not game specific as such but working on technique in key areas of goal
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
GK starts at side of goal and passes / throws to striker
Striker has 3 touches to shoot and GK must save
Shooter cannot go closer than defined cone area!
GK gets a point for conceding a normal goal
GK gets 2 points for conceding rebound
GK gets 3 points for GK mistake (we decide depending on skill level etc)
GK gets 4 points for a goal going into corner and GK not diving
POINTS ARE BAD!!!!

Simple catch dive from knees
GK starts on knees
Knees shoulder width apart and weight forward
Server throws ball to face looking for good 'w' catch. GK rolls ball back to server. Serve then rolls ball left or right for GK to dive to.
GK cannot touch cones that are behind him, instead focusing on getting hands on ball infront of body and landing correctly.
GKs do 4 each side with ball rolled.
GKs then do 4 each side with a little throw in air
Hands, elbow and shoulder in straight line not outside the body line / tucked elbows
Thumbs almost touching to create 'w'
Body weight forward
Head in line or in front of toes
Hands in good ready position (elbows in at ribs)
GKs should have hands infront of body, below shoulder line
Hands on ball before ribs and hips touch floor
GK to have back of shoulder on ground
Elbow should not be planted in the ground after dive
