· This drill is in the main goal of the pitch and the players are in between the middle of the pitch and the 18 yard box
· player (1) passes the ball to player (2),
· Who starts dribbling with the ball towards the 18 yard box,
· Player (3) defender goes forward to try tackle and block player (2) from scoring
· If player (3) gains position of the ball or the ball goes out of play we swap players and repeat the same practice while the other players go to the back of the line,

Introduction
explain to the players, the Formation:
9v9,
Red team : (3,2,3)
Blue team : (3,3,2)
The bibs, visual aids, Tactics board.
Transition from defence to counter attack
Formation:
9v8,
Red team : (3,2,3)
Blue team : (3,3,2)
The red team scores in the 2 mini goals,
The blue team scores in the large goal.
20 mins
· The red goalkeeper starts the play by passing to the central defender.
· The central defender passes the ball back to the left back defender who develops the play to the defensive midfielder.
· While the blue team is pressing and tackling, they win the ball.
· The red defensive midfielder wins the ball back.
· The defensive midfielder send long ball to the striker and the wing players go up high are closing in on the blue 18 yard box.
· The blue team becomes under pressure
· The red team wins the ball and transition from defence to attack by long ball very quickly to score in the one of the blue goal.
Repeat this practice with speed in different strategies. This transition to attack must be before the opposition team is able to organise their team shape.
