- Four stations to start from & receive, all players split equally across the four stations.
- Players bring the ball into play, coming up to a manakin to take on using a skill or dribbling through the cones, using different techniques as instructed.
- Once the players hit the middle, they change direction to the left or right as instructed, around the pole and pass into the player waiting. Cones are placed in a way that they don't obstruct the player feeding the ball or run into traffic.

- Start with 1v1, the player passing presses the player that receives, and the player chooses which goal to pass/ dribble into.
- Once received, the attacker must choose a direction to go in to score in the mini-goals, one out of four.
- They have a number of seconds from the pass to score, the coach's choice, only from outside of the middle area.
- If the two defenders win possession, they aim to go in the two opposite goals, but the attacker can win the ball back and attempt to dribble past and score.
- Rotate positions each attempt, with others waiting to replace the attacker, with the current defenders moving on.

- The players aim to travel with their football from island to island, with the middle one being worth 2 points & the outside ones being worth 1 point.
- To begin with, the coach is the defender with an aim of taking possession of the players' football and dribbling out of the area.
- The players can win the ball back from the defender, if they do, they carry on as normal.
- Bibs are placed around the area, so when they've lost their ball and it is out of the area, they can put on a bib and become a defender.
- Play carries on until all players are defenders.

- Two teams split into even numbers, if possible.
- Each team split into two starting opposites side of the square.
- Both members of one team start to dribble towards the cone, meeting each other and knocking/ dribbling the ball to the side as instructed.
- Once they've passed the cone, a pass will be played into the player waiting.
- The other team then repeats the process, each team taking turns.
Progression
- Ask the players how close they can get to the cone before knocking/ dribbling past.
- Recommend skills that the players can try before reaching the cone ie. stepover & knock

- All players couple up with another player, swapping every so often.
- Cones are set out in a pair, at different angles over the area.
- The idea is to expose the space, use as much of it as possible and pass the ball to each other between the cones.
- The passing is a one-two combination, so one player will be constantly carrying/ dribbling the ball, whilst the other finds a set of cones to pass through and receives the ball.
- Swap over roles after time has passed and the players are confident.
Progression
- Number players 1 & 2, on the coaches instruction, one of the numbers swap with another player with the same number, whilst the other player continues to dribble the ball, making the pass once they identify a player available.
Focus
- Using space with varied passing & receiving
- Creating space if no space is available
- Off the ball movement & angle
- Communication & reading

- If the other player wins the ball, they try to do the same.
- Both of the players counting how many cones they manage to get through.
- Swap partners after so many minutes.

- Players begin at the start of the red cones that represent the alleyway.
- Each cone is placed a yard or two further away than the previous, to encourage players to take heavier touches through the alley.
- When reaching the end, players should be fully running with the ball, they turn and go alongside the three cones.
- Once past, the players should be taking a mix of heavy & light touches around the poles/ mannequins & then pass into the next player waiting for a ball.
