Set Up
Half field split into thirds vertically, 3 pug nets
Organization
Players set up as shown in 3 groups of 6
Player B checks out/in to receive the pass from Player A
Player B opens his body to pass back to Player A and moves to space to draw the defender
Player A then shoots or creates another passing combination with Player B before shooting
Change defender every few minutes
Progressions
Encourage wall passes and limited touches to pass and shoot
Coaching Points
Checking out/in to space to receive the ball (drawing the defender and creating penetration)
Passing the ball into the player's stride to ensure a clean pass or finish
Working hard off the ball to get to space with a clear passing lane

Set Up
Full field, split into 3 zones (defence, midfield, attack)
Organization
Players set up in game mode, 7v7
In game play, one player (minimum) must always be in each zone e.g. as attack progresses, one defender stays with opposition striker, centre mid is there to receive a cut back pass and so on
Defender and centre mid should stay central so that they can see the play and any potential counter attack, wide midfielders should track immediately and regain 3-2-1 shape when the ball is lost
Progressions
Limit touches to 2-3
Coaching points
Players are encouraged to shield the ball with the arm out until support arrives, check out/in to draw defenders away from space and limit their touches and switch the play
Working hard off the ball to get to space with a clear passing lane and letting the ball carrier know they are open

Player B shields the ball with his arm out and waits for Player B's movement by shielding the ball
Player A passes the ball into Player B's stride and shoots on the pug net or 1-2s with his partner before shooting
Change defender every few minutes

Coaching points
Shielding the ball with the arm out towards the defender (body position)
Passing the ball into the players stride to ensure a good first touch and clean pass or finish
Player B, once they have laid off the Player A, must move to space and call for the ball
