Instructions: player 1 passes to player 2 and follows pass. player 2 does same to player 3 and so on and player 8 dribbles ball to join back of player 1's. once 1st player is clear of player 2 next player 1 can start. avoid ball hitting cones. players receiving the ball to work around and behind cones.
looking at quality and not tempo.

Organization:
coach reds. manage blues.
7 + GK V 5. Blues win possession- keep ball to score in big goal. out of possession must stay in zone- in possession midfield can support striker in end zone.
Reds to progress through units to score in any of 3 mini goals at end of zone.
Instructions: Blue striker starts with shot at GK. once GK gets ball. look at distribution out from back. (see screen 3 for hotspots- position players should look to be at to receive ball).
DEVELOPEMENT. 6 allowed to drop into defensive zone (unopposed - a reward for being positive to look to receive ball). introduce a 3 second rule so if not received the ball after 3 seconds must rotate positions with 8 and 10.
DEVELOPEMENT - look to get 2 or 3 on the ball deep by rotation of players( eg 2-5-6 or 3-4-8)
Coaching Points:
look at distribution from GK to all players.
look at angle of run of receiving player and body position on receiving the ball. Receive ball on back foot so facing open play to look to play a positive 2nd touch.
In possession create width, length and depth. out of possession - protect goal, compact, delay forward play- force play wide and back.
positivity of players. penetrating passes. link up play
