Organization: as many 5x15 meter grids as required. 3 players in each grid. 1 ball between each group.
Instructions: Goal keeper plays the ball to the first striker. Players are to shoot the ball at the goal keeper and sprint to the same line, switch positions and the goal keeper then takes their place and the original striker is now the goal keeper for the 3rd player to shoot at. This is a constant rotation.
The main types of shot to be focused on are;
Driven
Inside Curl
Outside Curl
Lofted
Coaching Points:
1) Strike the ball low.
2) Do not just strike generally in the directin of the goal, pick a spot.
3) sprint in as if to rebound.
4) Head and knee over the ball.
Progressions: Introduce rebounds. This will either happen naturally when someone misses and a save is made, or you will have to introduce it at the right time.

Organization: Small sided possession game 40x25 meters.5v5/6v6. 3 cones in a triangle as a 3 sided goal.
Instructions: 2 teams play possession against eachother. The idea is to score through any side of the goal.
Coaching Points:
1) Strike the ball low.
2) Experiment with side foot placed shot or strike through the laces.
3) Get open in to space in order to receive the ball and get a shot away before being tackled.
4) Do not just strike generally in the directin of the goal, pick a spot.
5) Do not force the shot. If it is not on, play back.
6) Look fo 1-2 passes to get into space.
7) head and knee over the ball.

Organization: 40x25 meter grid. 5v5/6v6. 2 pop up goals.
Instructions: Players are to shoot in to either goals. Goals can not be tap ins. Must be from decent range.
Coaching Points:
1) Strike the ball low.
2) Experiment with side foot placed shot or strike through the laces.
3) Get open in to space in order to receive the ball and get a shot away before being tackled.
4) Do not just strike generally in the directin of the goal, pick a spot.
5) Do not force the shot.
6) Look fo 1-2 passes to get space in behind defenders.
7) Head and knee over the ball.
8) Head up looking to see if shot is on.
Progressions: Free Play with an emphasis on shooting.

Shooting Warm Up.
Organization: 40x25 meter grid. 2 cones as a goal in the centre of the pitch. 5v5/6v6.
Instructions: The aim is to shoot the ball through the goal. The other team then receives the ball and repeats the drill. The teams should be creative with the types of shots they attempt, ie, curling shot, placed shot, blasted shot, lofted shot etc. 1-2 passes, lay offs etc.
