Crossing Drill. .
Balls begin with a server roughly 30 yards from goals. Server plays the ball to either player on the wing who must take a touch towards the touchline and cross the ball in for the goal-keeper to claim. Aiming for the area between the 6 yard and the penalty area.
If the GK can rise and claim the cross they then play a ball to the other player making a run down the line.
Once player receives the ball from the goal keeper they play a 1-2 with the server and cross the ball from the other side.
Progression:
1.Servers can then take a touch inside and try to shoot from wide area.
Coaching Points:
1. Ensuring correct body position when facing the cross from any angle.
2. Ensure correct set position when facing cross.
3. Ensure correct aggression is given when coming to claim the cross.

Distribution drill.
Keeper is set up infront of the goals. 2 recievers are positioned at a distance to receive forward passes. as well as 2 small goals on either end of the 18-yard box.
Play begins with a ball being sent from a server to the goal keeper who takes a touch accross their body and plays either a short ball or a longer ball to the players waiting outside the area.
On the servers call the keeper can then play a quick pass into the goals.
With the keeper then being out of position a player serving the ball passes to an outside player who takes a touch and a shot to simulate a poor ball out from the goal-keeper and the striker taking advantage of the opportunity.
Progression:
- Servers provide match pressure to the goal keepers to release the ball to the receivers.
- Players who recieve the ball take a touch out-wide and cross in the ball for Goal-keeper to claim for the drill to continue.
