Players pass to opposite side of the rectangle, when thet pass they follow the ball to the relevant cone and join the back of the queue, or if there's no player on the cone they fill the cone and get ready for the next pass.

Size dependent on outcomes. The smaller the square the quicker the control and pass

Four attackers on each corner, must retain the ball by passing to each other
One defender in the middle tried to intercept the ball
Defender can't tackle only jockey and intercept passes
If attacker pass doesn't reach team mate he/she swaps with defender
If defender intercepts the ball he/she swaps with the attacker that made the pass

Arrival Activity - small sided game (10 mins)
EQUIPMENT:
Cones and bibs
SETUP:
Use penalty area or create an area that encourages pressure for the relevant age group. The smaller the area the more individual confidence is practiced, the larger the area more time is given when on the ball.
Create a 'goal area' at each end of the play area. The smaller the area the more control is required to score.
SESSION:
Goals are scored by stopping the ball in the end zones.
If the ball is kicked out of play the opposition get a goal - encourage keeping the ball in play, try not to 'kick it out'.
Used as an arrival activity - as players arrive add them to a team. This could start as 2v3 for example, then as more players arrive make the teams even, (3v3) then create an overload and keep doing this untli all players have arrived, so 3v4, 4v4, 5v4, 5v5. Then let the game play out.
COACHING POINTS:
Small sided game in a confined area to encourage pressure
Look to keep hold of the ball until the right pass is available
If there is no pass available encourage the player in possision to keep hold of the ball - can they do a skill or dribble to create space.
Team mates
- can they move into space to assist their team mates or create space for the player on the ball.
Opposiiton
- must make controlled tackles to keep ball in play and create a counter attack
- can they intercept passes to create a counter attack
