Type: Ball Mastery
Team Function: Dribbling
Zones: Attacking zones
Duration: 20 minutes
Objectives: Introduce execution of moves while dribbling
Emphasis: Keeping ball close and executing move at proper distance from cones (defender)
Coaching Points: Selling the move, Timing of move, Accelerate after move
Organization: Multiple lines set up. 2 starting cones and 3 cones in between 15 yards from each starting cone.
Equipment: Disc cones, Balls
Goals: Players being able to perform moves at speed.
Instructions: Both lines will start at the same time and dribble towards centre three cones and perform move. Players will perform move that will both take them towards the left to begin.
Progression: Go to the right, then players get to choose which side. Players will have to keep head up to avoid running into opposite player.

Duration: 20 minutes
Objectives: Introducing varying game like movements to basic passing&receiving
Emphasis: Weight/Quality of pass, Good first touch
Coaching Points: Part of the foot/ball when passing and receiving.
Organization: Starting cone with second cone 8 yards behind. 1 hurdle 5 yards on each side of starting cone. Mirror on opposite side 15-20 yards apart.
Equipment: Disc cones, Hurdles, Balls.
Goals: Players being able to consistantly make good passes and take good first touch while under faitgue.
Instructions: Ball will begin with one side. Player will play a pass across to opposite side. After passing Player will move to either the right or left, jump over hurdle, then sprint around back cone and re-join line.
Progression: instead of jumping over hurdles on their own side they will sprint to other side and complete process. Increasing work.

Emphasis: Quick changes of pace&direction
Coaching Points: Knees bent, accelerate after move or turn.
Organization: Set up multiple gates, Maximum 3 different colours. Each gate 2 yards apart.
Equipment: Disc cones, Balls
Goals: Players being able to perform turns and moves at speed
Instructions: Players will dribble freely in space. When coach says go players can choose any gate to dribble through. Once they get to a gate players will perform a turn to get back through the gate. Begin with same turn through every gate.
Progression: Have a different turn through each colour gate. Introduce moves.
