IP Objectives

To develop and aquire principles of facing forward and playing forward, including using combinations and connections as two and in sets of 3 players.

OOP Objectivies

To develop principles of defending as an individual with core skills. Also stopping forward passes and protecting the middle.

Organisation

Create a 15x20m (Half court) with two goals. Players will play 2v2. Each team has 2 pivots either side of the goal they are attacking. To score a goal, the players must pass the ball to the pivots before they can score. It is the pivots job to set the ball back to the players to finish.

The Pivots cannot be tackled.

When the ball changes possesion / turns over, the opposition has to attack the other goal, using the pivots.

To start the game, A gk rolls the ball out to their teammate (not a pivot direct)

Progessions

• Limit outfield players to 2 toutches & Pivots to 1 touch.
• Pivots can finish at the back post
  
• Tired players can high five pivots to change spaces. Pivots cannot enter court until high five is completed.
