Organization
1. Set up as shown.(12x12)
2. 3 yds between cones.
3. 10-12 players.
Instructions
- Two groups of 3 players in each lane.
- Player 1 dribbles towards far blue cone and performs turn. Perform a 2nd turn in close blue cone then make pass to teammate.
- Player 1 switch spots with Player 2 and Continue pattern.
- Both groups dribble at the same time.
Progress into competition: First team to arrive at starting positions sits down.
Coaching Points
A. Technique - Turning to maintain possession
1. Player dribbling w/ head up to see opponent/space/support
2. Approach at angle with knee bent
3. Support foot beyond ball
4. Get foot around ball (inside/outside cut) with ankle firm, or proper technique with sole of foot on top of ball (U-Turn)
5. Touch ball into new direction, getting body between defender and the ball.
6. Check over shoulder to see if option to play forward is there.

Organization:
1. Set up as shown (12x8)
2. 3 groups of 4 players.
Instructions:
Semi-Opposed
-Player 1 dribbles at angle - Player 2 (semi-opposed) cuts lane - Player 1 turns away and towards opposite angle. Player 1 makes pass to Player 3 CF..
- Player 1 become (semi-opposed), Player 3 (attacking player), Player 2 go to back of opposite line.
- Continue pattern.
Fully Opposed
- 1v1 opposed
- Players play 1v1 with two targets.
- 1 pt for pass to CF.
- Anyime ball is played to target players switch roles.
- Continue pattern.
Coaching Points:
1. Player dribbling w/ head up to see opponent/space/support.
2. Timing of turn: Where is the pressure coming from? / Where is space and/or Passing lane?
4. Get foot around ball (inside/outside chop) with ankle firm, or proper technique with sole of foot on top of ball (hook)
5. Touch ball into new direction, getting body between defender and the ball.
6. Check over shoulder to see if option to play forward is there.
