Organization: penalty area, 1 goal, two teams, lots of socer balls
Instructions:
1. Two teams have a tag race
2. Players start at endline, tag the next player in sequence until final player at 4th cone
3. Fourth player then runs around center cone in order to receive a through ball from the coach
4. Player has 3 touches before theu must shoot
5. The next race starts as soon as the last shot has been taken
(Both lines are going at once)
Coaching Points:
- Head up to observe the position of the goalkeeper
- Head down at point of contact
- Ankle locked, toe down
- Follow through to land on shooting foot
Progressions:
- Reduce number of touches that the final player has befoer their shot
- Coach serves up the ball in the air for a volley
- The first player begins with a ball and must dribble or pass to the next player in the sequence

Instructions:
1. Activity starts with the attacker dribbling out to the central cone
2. As soon as the attacker has taken two touches, the defender can run to the goal to act as goalkeeper
3. Play for a set time then switch roles
Coaching Points:
- Positive touch out of feet
- Head up to observe goalkeepers positioning
- Head down at point of contact
- Contact ball with laces
Progressions:
- Switch sides to work both feet
- Defender is live on attackers first touch

Organization: 40x25 yd area, 3 goals (1big goal, 2 puggs), two teams, lots of soccer balls
Instructions:
1. Defending team serves the ball into the attackers
2. Defending team becomes active on attacker touch
3. Attacking team plays 2v1 to big goal
4. If defender wins the ball, they attempt to score in either pugg goal
5. If ball leaves the field the game is over and the next defender re-starts game with 2 new attackers
6. Play for a set time limit, then switch roles
7. Keep score
Coaching Points:
- First attacker looks to commit defender to the ball
- Second attacker provides support
- Decision making of each player
- Timing of combinations
- Play with speed
- Attempt to score quickly, Lots of shots
Progressions:
- Activity becomes 3v2
- Limit attackers touches

Organization: 30x 30 yd area, with a 8x30 yd area in the middle, two team of 5 plus goalkeepers, 2 goals
Instructions:
1. One player from each team steps into the "trench", their goal is to win the ball that is served in by the coach
2. When a player in the "trench" wins the ball they look to pass into a teammate
3. The receiving team then tries to shoot and score in the opposing teams goal
4. Game continues until a goal is scored or the ball leaves the field of play
5. Game restarts with a new ball from the coach served into the "trench"
6. Rotate players in the "trench"
7. Play to a set number of goals
Coaching Points:
- Good pass into teammates
- Decision making of when to shoot
- Ways to create shooting opportunities
Progressions:
- Coach can vary type/height of service
- "Golden Ball" is worth 5 points
- Remove the central cones and play 5v5 with no restrictions

Organization: 2 yd gate in the middle with a cone 10 yds from gate on each side, players are in pairs, 1 ball per pair, extra soccer balls around the sides.
Instructions:
1. One partner begins with the ball and attempts to shoot the ball through the gate
2. A successful attempt is awarded 1 point
3. After the first partner attempts their shot, it becomes the second partners turn
4. Shots must be taken with their laces in order for it to count
5. Play to a set score, then rotate opponent
Coaching Points:
- Head up to observe target
- Angled approach
- Head down at point of contact
- Body weight forward, chest down
- Ankle locked, toe down
- Follow through, land on shooting foot
Progressions:
- Use weaker foot only
- If the partner misses, can the second partner earn 2 points for a successful one time shot
