- First player passes ball to player in middle who receives ball with back foot, turns and passes to player on far side. Players follow their passes.
- 3rd player receives pass and passes back to player in center who receives ball with back foot, turns and passes to player standing in first position. Players follow their pass

Passing Game -- Keep Away
- Split players into groups of 5 or 6.
- Set up cones in a 12 yard by 12 yard square
- Players on outside need to stay outside the box but stay close to the perimeter of the box.
- Pass so that you keep it away from the defeder in the middle.
- If the defender steals the ball away, the player they stole it from, switches and becomes the defendor in the middle.
- If someone plays an errant pass, that misses their target, that person switches with defender in middle.
- See how many passes can be completed before defender steals the ball or someone sends a poor pass.
- Progression -- if too easy, send in a second defendor.
- Start with two-touch passes, but move to one-touch if too easy.
- Look for firm, accurate passes.
- Look for passes that lead players to open position.
- Make sure players around the outside move on their line to be open for the ball.
