Aim: Put 4/5's in a setting where they're getting game like reps under pressure performance a variety of passing options during our build up phase.
Time / Organization: Players play 4 X 4 minute rounds 30 seconds rest in between. Crossover pressing phase must be intense / high - pressing from out to in.
coaching script / Plan for failure:
-4/5 wont play a variety of passes (the passes wont be on the ground) or use deception / coach the technique of the pass, using your body language to fool the opponent / different surface areas to play the pass.
2/3 wont move after they've played the pass into midfield / coach how they provide width in our attack.
- 7/8 will receive the ball on the same line as the 6 / Discuss how easy this makes it for the opponent & how our build up options are limited, focus on the details.
- players wont be on the half turn, wont scan, with their first touch not breaking the line (forward) /
We should be on the half turn, scan and take touch forward with our front foot at every opportunity this will allow us to play forward / maintain possession & create chances

Progression: Add Center Back's for non focus team / 9's for focus team - increase grid by ten yards.

Title: Warm Up / juggle race
Activity / Organization: Players dribble through the cones and must perform juggling sequence in the box before they can pass the ball back for the next player can enter.
Round 1: Juggle 1-10 any foot or surface. Last touch must 'kill it' in the box
Round 2: Juggle 1-6 inside of the feet only. Last touch must 'kill it' in the box
Round 3: Juggle 1-5 left foot only. Last touch must 'kill it' in the box
Round 4: Juggle inside-laces-outside = 1. Sequence must finish in the box. First to four.
