Some basic exercises for the young one group to perform at home during this time of COVID19.
The intention is for you GKs to practice your foot work mobility and your hands and feet coordination during the catch.

HANDLING - 4 X 10 - REST IN BETWEEN
ORGANIZATION
Find a place that you can toss the ball, and accelerate to handle it.
Stand 5 feet away from the wall or boucer.
Toss the ball as an under amr distribution.
As the ball travels to the bouncer place , you take one step forward, with your left, and catch it.
Repeat using the right step foward now, and alternating.

Under arm toss, now you step and colapse to save. 10 x each side

Bounce the ball and catch - W contour catch
After the third time catching , roll the ball sideways and step colapse slide to it. 10 x each side

LFA - LATERAL FOOTWORK AGILITY - 4 X each side
ORGANIZATION
Set a distance compared to your six yards box, with two cones at the end representing a goals.
Add two soccer balls at each end about three yards from the large cones.
First drill
GK will shuffle from LEFT to RIGHT between the cones, at the last cone ,Touch at the large cone and quick acceleration to the ball diagonally to you. (No diving yet). Back Pedal and start from the opposite side.
Repeat it four times at each side.
NOTES
1- Don't cross your legs from cone to cone
2- Quick small shuffles
3- Keep your eyes up on the field always, don't look down.
