Organisation (Practice Layout & Transition)
A wave practice to encourage shooting. Recovery runs are a way to allow lots of shooting opportunities through having an overload. Encourage the players throughout and praise good practice.
Setup:
2 goals opposite each other roughly 20m but can be made shorter or longer.
Players split into even teams, 3 players active on the pitch the rest “resting” behind their own goals.
Should be a constant end to end practice
Allow breaks through interventions - both good and bad

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progression: Allow extra goals/points for a finish in the corners. First time finish is worth double points
Regression -Make space larger to allow more time as recovering player has to run further
Challenges, Conditions or Targets: Must treat it as a real game scenario where attacking is the main objective.
Challenge to score first time for double points, Condition where each player can touch the ball if possible. Target to score a goal each wave.
