- If defenders win the ball they then become attackers and play with posession players
- Transition from defense to offense has to be to open up quickly, and from offensive to defense compact

Crossing and Finishing:
1) First player in middle line dribbles out and shoots on goal.
2) Second player in middle line completes wall-pass with first player and then shoots.
3) Player on right, dribbles down line and cross ball to the two players who just shot.
4) Player on left dribbles down line and crosses ball.
Progression of crosses: Start off with all crosses on the ground ot either near post or 45 degree ball. Then crosses can be lifted to far post.
Rotation: Once balls are retrieved, the two outside players come to the middle and the two inside players go outside.
Coaching Points: All of this has to be done at a high intensity. Middle players, need to recycle their runs and be purposeful with their runs. One should be arriving near when ball gets there and one should be going far or pk spot. Can you be deceptive with your runs? Are arriving on time or too early? Are crossers accelerating at full speed?
*Competition: Need to score 10 goals in 2 minutes.

Half Field Transition Game
6 v 3 + GK
Rules
Coach will give ball to the three players. The three players score by dribbling across one of the two cone goals.
The 6 players will have to get compact ASAP to win the ball. Once they do they have to switch the point of attack once before they can go to goal.
Coaching Points: Offensive players need to react quickly by becoming compact to win it and then spread out ASAP to create width and make it hard for the opposition to win it back again. Make sure when we get the ball wide and look to get in behind to cross it, players need to be making purposeful runs inside the box.
Progression:
-Once attackers win ball they can go to goal directly.
Add one player to defensive team to make it 4 field players + 1 GK.
***Introduce the three new offensive set pieces.

8v8 Game:
GK-3-1-3 vs GK-2-1-3-1
The 3-1-3 is to make sure we have a good relationship with the outside back and outside mid. With how the progression of the session has gone. Players should be flying and aggressive.
