Organisation
Create a further diamond as illustrated, same dimensions as previously.
Aim
To encourage quick accurate passing and player movement.
Instructions
2-touch only.
Receiving player to move forward and bump back in order to receive the ball on his front foot.
Open body position.
Inside of the foot control and inside of the foot pass.
Passer follows the pass and joins the next line.
Coaching Points
Pass to the players front foot, eye contact with the receiver before passing, inside of the foot control and pass.
Firm 2-touch passing.
Looking up to be aware of the opposite groups passing and running players.
Progressions
1. Change direction to encourage control and passing with other foot.

Organisation
Create a circle 15yds x 15 yds.
Place one player in the centre of the circle, and 6-8 plyers on the edge of the circle.
Play commences with a player on the edge of the circle, passing to the player in the centre of the circle and following the pass.
Aim
To encourage short, firm and accurate passing with good first touch control.
Instructions
The outside player passes the ball to the middle player and follows his pass to become the new middle player. The middle player can control and pass the ball to any outside player, then takew up a position on the outside of the circle (close to where he passed)
Coaching Points
Properly weighted pass, eye contact with the receiver before passing.
Progressions
1. Call the receivers name before making the pass.
2. One touch passing by the middle player but two touch by players on the outside.
3. One touch passing by players on the outside and the middle player.
4. 2-touch - right foot only/left foot only.

Objective
Focus on creating space and moving to receive the ball back from one-two combinations
Description
Create an area 30 x 30 yards. Suited for 6-8 players.
Place a player on each of the outer red cones as shown.
Player A passes to Player E. Player A must run from central cone through the 2 cones in order to receive the ball from Player A.
As soon as Player A passes the ball to Player A, Player A must move to the position as occupied by Player B. By the time Player A gets to Player B's position, Player B will have received the ball from Player E and moved on - see below) In the meantime, as soon as Player E receives the ball from Player A, Player E must turn and pass the ball to Player B.
The pass must be the correct side of the blue cone.
Player B moves move towards the cone and touch it before moving to receive and pass back.
Player B then moves to Player C's position, and Player E in the meantime, having received the ball from Player B will pass to Player C etc.
Player E coninues until he has played a one-two with Player D
Then, Player E passes to the next in line - and Player D takes up the central role previously occupied by Player E, with Player E joining the line.

Objective
To develop awareness, keeping the first touch closew to the feet and using the correct body shape.
Description
Create an area 25 x 25 yards.
9 players.
Number players 1-9.
Play with 3 balls, with players 1,4,7 starting in possession.
Players must pass in numbered sequence - keeping their positions as set out above. They receive the ball from the player with the previous number and pass to the player with the next number. With 3 balls in play they need to be quickly ready to receive after playing their pass.
2 touch football - control and pass.
Variation
1. Increase number of balls to 4
2. One touch.
3. Allow movement of players
Coaching Points
Players must be constantly on their toes and changinf their body shape to be aware of who they are going to receive from, as well as to who they are going to pass the ball to.
Players should be constantly moving
