Organisation:
Goalkeeper catches from 1, then move across goal to catch from 2.
Volley from servers
Duration 3 repetitions then rotate.
Progressions:
Ball played on floor for second save.
Advance to greater distance on second save.
Advance to calling number and reacting to shoot.
Moving ball to strike.
Coaching Points:
Goalkeepers ability to move feet and change direction.
Balance and decision making on what technique to use.
Consider types of ways to make save around feet.
Body weight, on set position and making the save.
Distances and angles of into line and down line.

Organisation:
Central server starts with ball, passes into either side server, who plays back pass to goalkeeper.
Goalkeeper then plays to either opposite server, or centrally to server 1 who move to right or left.
Then a through ball is played for either wide server to advance and shoot.
Duration:
2 Repetitions then alter.
Total of 6-8 repetitions per progression.
Progressions:
Ball played into goalkeepers hands for a hand distribution.
Server 1 can shoot from distance rather than pass.
Coaching Points:
Body position and depth to receive pass
First touch to allow switch of play or to go longer.
Adjusting to the change of possession and the attackers through ball.
Decisions as to how far down the line to advance.
Choose correct technique to deal with shot.
Catch or parry, recovery save if needed.

Organistaion.
Ball starts with midfield player, pass is played into No10 who pulls into half space,
then plays through ball for opposite striker to shoot Follow pass, repeat opposite side
Duration: 4x3 minute blocks
Progression: No10 plays pass in front of mannequins for attacker to decide where to break the defensive line to shoot.
Play 1 to with No10 and striker for No10 to shoot. Slightly alter depth of manniquins.
Then play either in front or a penetrative pass. Decisions.
Coaching Points: (Goalkeeper specific)
Decision on how far into line and down line to advance.
Come and smoother, block, or stay deeper to make save.
Make striker make a decision. (don't anticipate shot)
Technique to make save.
Catch or parry.
Recovery save, if needed.

Organisation.
4v4 plus 2 goalkeepers and a floating player.
Players stay in set areas, but defending team can release to close down goalkeeper.
Area size: 32 yds length x24 yds width
Objective Team in possession to keep the ball, using goalkeepers and floating player (7v4)
If opposition win ball, they can score in any goal. Teams keep the same objectives for each block.
Duration: 2 minutes per block, then swap teams around.
Number of blocks. 6 dependant on training week preparation.
Progressions: play 2v2 in each half of pitch (Block 3 and 4)
Remove all zones, 4v4 using whole area (Block5 and 6)
Coaching Points (Goalkeeper specific)
Angle to receive ball
Decision 1 or 2 touch.
Awareness of next pass before ball arrives
Communication and information on pass
Angle and weight of pass in relation to defending teams positions.
