Description - Turning and passing under distraction. Players keep in their groups of 3's. 2 players on the outside and another in the middle. one of the players on the outside feeds the ball into the middle player who turns and players to the other feeder. Reapeat the sequence for 2minutes then change players in the middle. Work on recieving at an angle work on opposites and with the players on the outside constantly moving to make them more of a target to hit.
Technical - good first touch, aware of players around, focus on technique to then turn away from players and pass to other feeder.
Tactical - play to the opposite feeder as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
Physical - good workout, stressed environment work for 2 mins then switch.
Psychological/Social - communication skills, awareness of others, know when to speed up and slow down due to pressure. if not lend off.
Learning Objectives - be able to control, turn and play in one movement whilst under stress

Description - 5v5 to end line (dribble ball over or recieve pass) players work against opposition to get the ball into end zone. one directional at first then to into multi directional (once they score they attack the other target area) once they understand the game. Work on when is the best time to turn and which turns to use. Also touch on turning when in space (in defence), in tight areas (in midfield) and against a defender (strikers).
Technical - first touch away or shield from opposition, awareness of space and then accelerate into it once turn has been excuted.
Tactical - make opposition work and tire. attack quickly after identify space to expliot
Physical - good football workout
Psychological/Social - work as a team to make space that others can use, good decision making, awareness of others
Learning Objectives - identify appropriate times for turning and then to create a scoring opportunity

Description - 6v6 small sided game; allow to time play and make mistakes, use 1 on 1 coahing to help players when the best time is to use turns and how.
Technical - use the appropriate turns at the appropriate times, defenders turn out and face opposition goal, midfield turn in crowded areas, attackers turn defenders with a back to goal.

Physical - cardio workout

Off/on line turning drill (20 mins)
Description - players recieve ball from either feeder turn and then play to opposite side.look at different types of turns (0 touch, 1 touch, multi touch), can they recieve the ball off line from the feeder and then play to opposite line. repeat with players switching roles.
Technical - recieve the ball straight/at an angle to the feeder, good first touch, technique of turn, choose a variety of turns, use back foot to then play out in 2 touches.
Tactical - try and play quickly and smoothly to opposite feeder.
Physical - good workout, cardio vascular fitness and agility.
Psychological/Social - work on communication skills and working as a team, being aware of where your team mates are at all times.
