Activity:
Begin with 9 v 3 and progress to 9 v 4. The ball is played out of the back from the goal keeper to a defender. Defenders should receive the ball within the 18 yard box and then play out to a supporting player. The goal is pass the ball to the striker, who is positioned inside the end zone. The striker cannot leave the end zone. If the defensive team wins possession, they can score on the large goal. The play restarts if the ball goes out of play.
Rotate players into different positions and switch defenders and attackers.
Coaching Points:
Accuracy in passing and quick ball movement.
Positive first touches - first touch control and first touch decision.
Communicate with the receiver as soon as pass is executed.
Travel while the ball is traveling.

Activity:
Player 1 begins with a pass to player 2 and player 2 passes to player 3. Player 3 runs along the touch line with the ball and passes to player 4, who has advanced toward goal. Player 1 also makes a run toward goal for support, but is used for a dummy play. Player 4 finishes on goal. All players will return to their lines. Groups will rotate after a few attempts. At the half-way mark, begin play in a clock-wise rotation, with players using their left foot as much as possible.
Coaching Points:
Pass the ball in front of the player.
Except for the player running with the ball, everyone else has to play with 2 touch.
The player running with the ball must have big touches, and not dribble.
Ask player 2 what she can do after pass is made - support.
