4-5 players/per group. The diagram depicts 1 drill, but I've separated the actions so it's easier to see.
1. Player A dribbles to the middle cone, turns and makes a strong push pass to Player C
2. Player A immediately readjusts and gets the ball back OUTSIDE of the blue cone with their feet going forward
3. Player A push passes to Player B. Player A runs to the back of their own line. Player B & D do the same drill.
Key points:
- Make it as gamelike as possible & encourage them to do these basic skills at speed & on the move
- Staying low throughout the whole drill & moving their feet in order to make accurate, hard passes
Progression:
- leading to the other side (white cone) and receiving with your feet going forward
- make it a timed competition

3v3. If it stays 8 players, we could do 2 teams of 4 w/ one sub.
Teams can score points by 1) dribbling into a corner or 2) passing to a teammate who receives it in the corner
1. You cannot score in the same corner consecutively
2. Once you have scored a point in a corner, the defense cannot tackle you in the corner (corner is a safe zone)
3. Play rounds 2-3min long
Key points:
- Passing & receiving on the move
- Finding and attacking the open corner, especially using our leading and self-start

Probably will only have time for the 1v1s.
Defender passes the ball to the attacker, banana/curved run to approach and force the attacker outside.
If the attacker enters the circle, free shot. If the defender wins it, dribble into the circle and shoot.
Do both sides
If you have time, the same drill with a tackle back defender coming from the blue cone.

We can do a game w/ 2 goals on each side to encourage them to use the transfer & close the space on defense
Enact a rule, either:
1. All self-starts need to be taken within 5 seconds
2. 3 touches max
