defending 1v1 and 2v1 drills
key factors in attack:
use the ball manipulation techniques previously practiced and try to beat the defender and dribble through one of the gates to score a goal.
in defence:
defenders have been introduced to trying to get "touch tight" and get into a good body position to show attackers away from the goal and towards the touch line. if defender wins the ball they play back to the coach to score a goal.

possession and turning in tight spaces mdssg
aim of mdssg
6 players on the outside of the area set out like they would be in a game, 2 defenders, 1 wide midfielder on each wing and 2 forward palyers with a central based midfield player or "6".
the team in possession have 2 ways to score, 1 make 10 passes with being intecepted, 2 play the ball to the central player who turns out and and passes to a different team mate.
if the defending team win the ball, they must make 5 passes to score a goal, the 1 central red player then becomes the defender. if they are successful, ball given back to the outside players who start again.
players switch teams every few minutes.
