3421 Build Shape from Goal Kick

Details:

  • Wide CBs split next to GK in space between 6 yd box and outer edge of 18
  • CB sits on top of 18 as a starting point
  • WBs provide width and depth depends on pressure applied to ball.  Better to start higher to drag players away.
  • HMs start in the half start on the edge of the half space and the central channel.
  • AMs start high pinning opposition's back line.
  • ST start by occupying opposition's CB.
