2v1 in each box. Object is to get the ball from the top to the bottom.
All defending players must work together and be compact and organized.
In the top box blue 1 should stop the pass to the black, while blue 2 in the next box blocks the switch to their black. Once we have shown wide and blocked off the switch can we go and win the ball?
Are we organized? Make sure we are compact. This is our priority. No gaps.
Where do we show? Keep them on this side.
Can we win it? If yes, do it. If not be patiant, ensure we are organized and dictate where they go.
Progressions.
--> Two defnders can be in a grid at a time. This will force defedning groups to move as the ball moves.
--> Add a goal at each end for team in possesion to score into.
--> Can also make area bigger to make it harder if wish.

Set Up
Area split into three thirds
(size dependant on number of players/ability) Middle third smaller than the other two
Orgnisation
Divide the group into even teams, placing each team into a third of the grid
The middle team starts by playing the ball to one of the end teams. One player from the middle breaks out to try and win the ball back.
The end team can play the ball through the other side.
If the Def wins it, they break out and the team that lost possession goes in the middle.
