Organizational / Instructions
Players are separated into four group's, each group are positioned into different box's.
equipment: bibs,football, marker cones.
description: here i have set up 4 different training techniques which players may encounter during a match.
group A: is A simple cross into the box trying to find teammates in the box to score a goal with there head.
group B: this drill is to look ahead for a players run and play the ball through to them for a chance to score.
group C: is to play a pass through defenders to find a teammate who will then play it back to there teammate running into the box.
group D: is to find a teammate with no one marking them, to find a shot on goal. with using the third man to keep defender's away from the ball being played in to box area.
Coaching Point
players heads must always be looking up when they have the ball to find runners into the box well.
using the right weight of pass will make it easier for there teammate to execute the drill.
Progressions / Adaptations
adding in extra defenders on these drills means the players will have to find extra movement to reach the end of a pass.
