Ball transfers to their LB.Our RF covers the line ball initially,CM in between CF and R,RM in between RF and CM ready to jump on the line ball and the player if it goes through.LM in between CF-CM-LF..SW line ball to goal and ready to engage-disrupt and delay the ball carrier if the ball goes through and we face a counter.Back 3 man to man.Same applies if the ball is on the other side to their RB.

we maintain our shape and structure while shuffling, following the path of the ball,we hold on 3/4.CFis responsible for the 2 CBs so is always in line with them when either of them has the ball.RF-LF are responsible for the wide backs,CM-RM-LM-SW keep their diamond shape and shuffle as well.3 at the back always man to man

If the ball is played in one of the middle pockets we need the wide forward -side mid and centre mid on the balls side to collapse instantly in and put pressure ,denying any way forward.the only pass available should be at the back.

When we have the ball on a 16,our SW drops to the backline and we got a back 4 bowl. The 2 wide backs need to be in line with the opposition forwards or even a bit higher, but wide on the lines anyway(they can come deeper to collect the ball if needed). Our SW and CB are wider and positioned to the shoulders of the D.Our 3 midfielders are takingh care of the middle of the pitch and are offset but more narrow with each other. Our 3 fprwards need to get higher and stack together so they can ocupy the opp defenders. We want the highlighted areas to be free space so we need to stack our mids and forwards infield and not wide, otherwise you will be just marked on the lines if you move too soon.

Mids need to be making leads as a unit looking to offer short 1-2 options to each other, try to connect with our wide backs who can be promoted on the lines. They can rotate themselves in a clockwise or anticlockwise movement as the ball gets transfered, but they leave the lines open for our wide backs to be promoted or for our forwards to lead into.

Forwards need to stack together and high.Keep moving so you keep the defenders having to concentrate on you constantly, use fake leads-changes of direction-mix your leads. We are looking to have you in the highlighted areas,1 posting up to receive on balls side,1 baseline on balls side,1 top d-pspot.

3/4 Hold press we can use it after the 10 mins of full pressing when our energy levels are a bit lower or if our full press is not working and we need to take a more cautious approach.Red line indicates where our highest player on the pich starts who is our CF.Green line indicates the arrowhead shape we need from our forwards and the diamond shape we need from our mids and SW.We should be able to cover all the balls through the middle of the pitch,we need to remain disciplined and keep our shape to deny them every possible way forwards through our lines,we dont get drawn by the ball and start moving forward on our own otherwise the structure collapses and we leave huge gaps. Now that the ball is with Orange 1(Left cb)our CF is in line with the ball covering balls through the middle.RF is below CF on their right, responsible for the opp left back, covering the diagonal ball towards the line.LF tucks in below CF in line withy their other CB,covering the diagonal towards the sideline.CM-RM-LM-SW are on their diamond shape covering all the balls through the middle and ready to put pressure on any receiver in the middle pockets.
