Stick and ball warm up
Players on circle edge try to score through defenders square inside circle
May pass ball around the outside of the circle to try move defenders
No tackling
Once Circle team score 3 goals, change defenders
ADVANCE: Circle players score by driving into square inside circle
Defending players may tackle and if they win the ball, they "imprison" the attacker by driving outside the circle. The attacker then becomes the defender.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Hockey images.
4v4 Square
Player from each team opposite ends outside of the square with 2 team members inside the square
Players try to work the ball from one side of the square to the other through the playing area
Points scored every time the ball gets across successfully
If defending team intercept ball, they begin their count. If a receiving player misses the ball, hits a foot, they lose the ball
Aim of the game is to move ball from one side of square to the other, however they can
Start with LARGER square and if too easy, make smaller

Kabadi Count-up
4 in each square (2 teams in each pitch)
1 group starts passing in their square. Each time they connect 3 passes, defending team sends a raider across to try win the ball
If raider intercepts/tackles and wins ball, they need to try get it back to their team square to begin their count
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Hockey images.
4v2
Set up narrow channel in middle of pitch
Ball is fed into 3 attackers from Defender deep on the sideline who drops in to defend after their pass. This ball releases a defender and another attacker in the middle channel who drops into the playing area to defend and attacker positions themselves in a scoring position P-Spot/Post/90
Play until ball is dead then reset from the other side OR If defenders win the ball, they must release to their team in the other channel who may then counter attack in a 5v4
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Hockey images.
6v6 Restricted Goals
Goalkeepers may not go into the squares unless the ball is played into those squares or the ball carrier goes into the square
Encourage goalkeepers to read the game, intercept ball and create counter opportunities
Scoring Zones (SZ) in line with T-Points
If it gets too crowded ANYWHERE, restrict number of players in defensive/attacking zones or halves
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Hockey images.
4v4/3v3 with outlet players
3 Teams with one team as neutral wall-pass players on outside of pitch
If odd numbers, nominate a Joker player who plays for the team in possession and cannot tackle
Players may shoot in either goal but defending team has to pass the ball first or change goals if the GK makes a save and the defender picks it up (they cannot shoot off a rebound)
Players must use their outlet players to change angle of attack, create overload etc
Outlet players may not tackle anyone on the pitch
Outlet players must play the ball back to the team who passed them the ball
Change outlet team after every 3 goals (winning team stays on)
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Hockey images.
4v4 Goal scoring
3 Teams - 2 in the D and one outside in the 25
25 Team transfers ball until they find a free player leading toward the ball or a crash ball into D for deflection (after ball has moved 5 in transition)
These players may move anywhere in the 25 with or without ball but may not cross passed the 5m circle
Attacking team may use outlet players if they cannot move the ball forward (make it harder that they cannot use the outlet players once the ball goes into the D)
FOCUS on players getting into scoring positions: deflections / rebounds / crosses
If defending team win the ball they pass to the team players outside the 5m line and become the attacking team
