Instructions:
- Defender plays to attacker then joins area and the two go 1v1 to the offset goals. Play until the ball goals of play or a goal is scored. At that point next defender plays is to the next attacker. Game is continuous. Swap roles after 90 seconds.
Coaching Points:
- Quality of pass,
- Speed of pressure,
- Angle of approach,
- Last step in, first step back,
- Body position - Side on, stay low, small quick steps.
- Eyes on ball,
- Be patient!
- Front foot poke tackle when the time is right.

Competition between the two teams.

- two defending (D) starting lines
- max 3 players at (D) cones for max reps
- two players at attacking cones (A)
- two small goals
Instructions: D players pass into opposite A player
- Attacking player scores on small goal
- defending player wins ball and dribbles ball across attackers endline for 3 points
Coaching Points: - Speed to press ball
- Defensive position, eyes on ball, stay low
- Force play left or right
- Be patient, waiting for the cues to make a tackle
- 'banana' runs

2v2 on field. Each time the ball leaves play a new ball comes in from the endline where resting players are stationed. Change players on field every minute.

Instructions:
- Players play knee tag. If you tag opponents knee then you score the point or if you manage to force them out of the area without touching them.
- Players play for 2 minutes before moving to play new opponent.
