Can only transfer across from top, bottom, or middle player

- if the oppositon can switch the play into the goal on the other half then worth double.

Whole Part Whole Session
- allow game.... 10 - 15 min
- must play through midfiel unless you win high
- no throw ons ball starts with GK only 1 Def can be in the end zone

- BPO locked in
- Outside players split then create diamond
- consider how the pressing from BPO oimpact shape
- focus on diamond and 4222

Defending in the transition when unable to counterpress.... however, closest player should always look to stop the forward pass throughout
session could also be an attacking transition session

- must keep one attacking player deep behind the square being attacked in
- defending team keep one long off the pitch as a target (must set back) and one in the adjacent square as an outball
- attacking team play 5v4 and try to score... once /if the defending team win back then the ball is played to either the out players and all the attcking players need to recover
- once the counter attack has been stopped or scored then you reset.
- Both sides work in the left and right squares for a set number and then roles swap
3. Finishing
- 6v4 attacking session
- once the attack has finished then players transition quickly to the other end (TBC time) and they attack that goal
- how many goals can be scored
- objective for the defenders to protect the box
- points given for getting in behind in wide areas, shots from certain areas and goals

- Attack against one another
- After any shot which goes wide, or, if the GK holds it then coach calls Left or Right and they attack the opposition, along with other players

- Continious Defence
- Every time we restart then two different AM have to run in to replicate the recovery runs
- FB start deeper, only one can be in play at a time
- 2nd GK acts as optio nto recycle

Rondo
- 6v2
- 6x1 min block (2 transitional and then 2 with the out of possession players competing against the other grid. Losing team (in respect to winning the ball back) have a punishment
2v2+2
- GK involved within one game - other pitch has mini goals
- if you connect with the end players and then score then goals are worth double
- Focus on Pressing, Defending in pairs (BPO) and Third Man Runs (BP)
SSG
- 4v4+4
- Whole area is open and in those playing are not restricted to any particular area
- Outside players are locked in and restricted within their touches
- Focus: Combination play, Vertical Passing, Off Ball Movement and Indivdual Skills (BP) defensive skills, recovery runs and counter pressing (BPO)
- 8x2 min blocks... quick transfer between inside and outside teams
Game
- 8v8 (plus two GK)
- 18 yd to 18yd box in length. Width variable depending on positions used
- Murder Ball. All players have a starting cone. If the ball goes out then all players need to recover to their starting spots before being able to release
- Cannot play back into a grid you've exited. Encourage forward play and movement off the ball
- Players set within shape
- 3x8 min blocks (last block is open. Normal football rules - observe how players play this when free of restrictions)
