Area:
Create area 30m x 20m with cones, poles, discs etc.
Equpment:
Balls, bibs, cones, discs, poles.
Objective:
All players have a ball. The same rules apply with taggers being dictated by colour displayed by the coach. The non tagging players dtibble the ball around avoiding being tagged. The tagging colour hold the ball in their hands and have to touch the ball of an opponent with their own ball to stick them in the mud. They are not allowed to throw the ball or kick the ball . If a player is tagged then they are released by a non tagging player nutmegging them. Once again, if the colour changes to a player who is stuck in the mud then they are automatically released to pick uip their ball and become a tagger.

Area:
use 5 or 6 aside size pitch.Create 4 corner zones of different colours approx 5mx5m.
Equipment:
Cones,discs, balls, bibbs
Objective:
Split players into 3 teams.Players play a possesion based game. When the coach signals the same colour as the corner with light cube or coloured disc above their head then the teams can score a point by passing the ball to a team mate into the same coloured corner. They have to have control of the ball to score the point. They can retain possesion and pass out to a team mate. They do not have to give up possesion because they have scored. The coahc will constantly change the colour to ensure the players are constantly scanning thier surroundings. The team off the pitch are observing and being involoved in a discussion.
Progression:
1) to encourage movement put a restriction that a player can only score by being on the move and moving into the space to recieve and not be stood static in the scoring zone to receive.
Keypoints:
Ensure players are constantly scanning to observe the changes. Players who react quickest to the changes will have an edge. Especially when the change is from regular match to scoring zones.

Stuck in the mud
Area:
Create area 30m x 20m with cones, poles, discs etc.
Equpment:
Balls, bibs, cones, discs, poles.
Objective:
Split players into 3 teams. One group are tagging and the other 2 are avoiding being tagged. The tagging team are the colour of the cone/disc the coach is holding up. When a player is tagged they stand still and one of the other players avoiding being tagged can release them by crawling through their legs. If the coach puts up a colour of a player that is stuck in the mud, they are automrically released to become a tagger.
Progression:
The coach will increase the frequency of colour changes wncouraging the players to be more vigilant of what colour are tagging.
Simplify:
Reduce the frequency of colour changes.
Key points:
Emphasise need to constantly scan to observe which colour are tagging. Be light on your feet and be agile to avoid being tagged.
