TECHNICAL REPITITION
1 plays to 2 who shows at an angle - 2 sets ball back to 1 who plays longer pass to 3 - player 3 receives the ball and dribbles into open grid in the next channel - combination repeats in the next 3 channels - Players move up one grid after each combination
COACHING POINTS
Passing technique (ankle locked, plant foot toward target, strike through center of the ball)
Movement before each pass (angles of support) - players in each channel should never be in a straight line
Receive the ball late (open body position, facing the direction you want to play)
Prepare early to receive (on the balls of your feet, receiving foot just off the ground)
Positive first touch (in the direction of play)

TECHNICAL APPLICATION
4 vs 2 in each grid
4 attackers try to keep possession against 2 defenders
Attackers must connect 3 passes before attempting to play to their target player who then goes 1 v 1 to goal
* Defender remains passive until attacker takes first touch
Variation 1 - Player who plays target can then follow pass to create 2 v 1 situation
Variation 2 - Player who passes to target plus 1 additional attacker join in (3rd man runs)

1 v 1 plus GK in each endzone
4 v 4 plus 1 neutral player in middle zone
4 attacking players plus 1 neutral player try to keep possession against 4 defenders
Attacking team must play their target in the final 1/3 before going to goal
* Start by allowing 1 player to join the attack in the final 1/3
* All players (attackers and defenders) may leave the middle 1/3 after ball is played into target
* Play restarts from coach who plays attacking team in the middle 1/3
