Area of drill - 35mts x 35mts
Start with player A running ball through cones the scoring in goals
Once player A gets to end cone the opposite player B starts dribbling through cones
Player A then becomes defender and player B the attacker
Players continue the pattern so as soon as the opposing player hits the final pole the next player starts his run

Game Training #2 35mt x 35mt
Start with 1 v 1
Coach plays ball into centre and player A & Player B both run around cones then into contest ball
Player who gets to the ball first is the attacker, if the defender wind the ball they score in opposite end goals
Rotate through team then go to 2 v 2 & 3 v 3

Can you take your first touch towards goal
Can your first touch enable you to beat the defender
Can you pretect the ball via keeping yourself between the ball and defender
Can the defender force the attacker over the side line
Can the defender win the ball on the attackers touch

Training Game 35mt x 35mt
5 v 5 + 1 Joker & 1 Keeper
Attacking side try to score while defending side try to win the ball and take the ball over the end line with controlled possion then the attackers become defenders and defenders become attackers
Coaching points
As per previous drills plus level and outside defenders, body position, first touch forward,
playing out positions, scanning & all technical habilts

Put players into pairs
1 player has the ball- they are the attackers whilst the other is a passive defender
Rotate the attacker and defender after a length of the training area
After 2 roatations allow the defender to go at 80-90% aggression
Final lap allow defenders to go 100% and try to win the ball

Eyes of attacker watching both ball and defender
Eyes of defender to watch ball and not the attacker
Attacker to protect the ball with body shape
Defender to be balanced on both feet to enable swivel without being turned inside out
